- Dr. Rajesh Kumar Ahlawat is a distinguished urologist and general surgeon with over 48 years of experience, recognized for his pioneering work in minimally invasive urology and renal transplantation. He has successfully established high-volume urology and renal transplant programs across several leading hospitals in India, including Medanta, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, and Fortis Hospitals.
- An accomplished minimally invasive surgeon, Dr. Ahlawat has been invited as guest faculty for live demonstrations of various laparoscopic and robotic surgeries worldwide. He pioneered the world’s first Robotic Kidney Transplant with regional hypothermia technique in collaboration with Prof. Mani Menon’s team from the Vattikuti Urology Institute at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, USA.
- Dr. Ahlawat has been honored with several awards, including the President’s Gold Medal by the Urological Society of India in 2016 and the Agra Urological Club Best Video (First Prize) in 2003.
