About me
- Dr. Rahul Bhargava is a leading Indian Haematologist and Haemato-Oncologist with numerous pioneering achievements in stem cell transplantation.
- In 2014, he became the first Indian doctor to successfully perform a stem cell transplant for Multiple Sclerosis, establishing the procedure in Indian medical practice.
- He was also the first in India to use stem cell transplantation for treating Systemic Sclerosis.
- Dr. Bhargava has completed over 1,500 stem cell transplants to date.
- He has been instrumental in establishing ten low-cost stem cell transplant centers across India, including at Sarvodaya Hospital, Batra Hospital, and Action Balaji Hospital.
- With a vision of an anemia-free and thalassemia-free India, he actively collaborates with various government initiatives to provide affordable bone marrow transplant treatments.
- Dr. Bhargava is recognized for his community hematology efforts, having screened over 500 children in schools across Haryana and surrounding areas in 2018.
