About me
- Dr. Naresh Trehan is a renowned cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeon with over five decades of experience. He graduated from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, in 1968 and pursued further training in the United States, practicing at New York University Medical Center from 1971 to 1988.
- In 1988, Dr. Trehan returned to India and founded the Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre in Delhi. He later established Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon, where he serves as Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Cardiac Surgeon.
- Throughout his career, Dr. Trehan has performed over 50,000 open-heart surgeries and has been a pioneer in introducing innovative cardiac care techniques in India.
