About me
- Dr. Ruquaya Ahmad Mir is a highly experienced surgical oncologist with over 35 years in the field, specializing in robotic surgery and comprehensive cancer care.
- She completed her MBBS from the University of Kashmir in 1989 and her DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examination in 1998.
- Since 2006, Dr. Mir has been associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi, actively involved in both outpatient and inpatient oncology care within a multidisciplinary cancer center.
- She has successfully performed numerous major oncological resection surgeries, including those for head and neck cancers, lung and esophageal cancers, major gastrointestinal malignancies, breast and gynecological malignancies, and soft tissue sarcomas.
- Dr. Mir is also involved in the implantation and maintenance of long-term vascular access devices and has contributed to the training of postgraduate surgical students and nursing staff.
