About me
- Dr. Shakti Bhan Khanna is a highly experienced gynecologist and obstetrician with 60 years of practice in the field. She specializes in gynecological oncology, endocrinology, infertility, high-risk pregnancies, and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
- She completed her MBBS from Jammu and Kashmir University in 1964 and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the University of Delhi in 1969.
- Dr. Khanna developed the surgical procedure known as ‘Khanna’s Sling Operation’ for vault prolapse, which has achieved significant success.
- She has been a recognized postgraduate teacher since 1985 for universities including Kashmir, Jammu, Delhi, AIIMS, and Bombay.
