About me
- Dr. Anil Saxena is an internationally acknowledged expert in cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology, with over 42 years of experience.
- He completed his MBBS in 1982 and MD in Medicine in 1985 from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur University, followed by a DNB in Cardiology in 1993 from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
- Dr. Saxena received specialized training in cardiac electrophysiology at St. Luke’s Hospital, Wisconsin, USA.
- Since joining Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in 1989, he has been instrumental in establishing the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- He is a pioneer in the implantation of Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs) and biventricular pacemakers in India, with one of the largest experiences in this field.
