- Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Gupta is the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, one of the largest liver transplant centres globally, with experience in over 3,000 transplants.
- He has over 30 years of experience in Surgical Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, and Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology.
- Dr. Gupta completed his medical graduation and post-graduation (MD) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
- He has been honored with positions such as Honorary Professor of Liver Transplantation at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Kolkata.
